Tiny Good Luck Clay Pig "Chanchito"

In the small village of Pomaire, Chile, it is believed that "chanchitos" (little pigs) bring good luck and good fortune.

Three-legged chanchitos are especially lucky, and are traditionally given to friends as a token of goodwill and love.

This tiny little Chanchito is a little less than 1/2 inch tall and has a silver-toned loop attached to his tail.

Each one is handmade out of clay and then kiln-fired, so each one is unique. They are made by a family run group of artisans in the village of Pomaire.
